He wants to cut regulations by at least 75%. He said this will not hurt safety or environment. Massive tax cuts for the rich and middle class. That will lead to massive debt. Trickle down economics on steroids.
When you get right down to it. Trumps economic plan is legalized corruption. It may spike the economy at first but then the shit will hit the fan down the road.

The tax cuts on the middle class won't increase disposable income that much because wages are low to begin with. The tax cuts on the wealthy, if it is used for investment, much of it will be invested in production outside the US because of our trade policies. Increasing the minimum wage to $10.00 an hour would probably be a bigger increase in disposable income.

(20,841 posts)At the same time he is promising a new corporation foreign tax he can't possibly understand.
Then he promised to renegotiate NAFTA to be better for the US. He does understand Canada and Mexico just won't give terms away? Right? Oh dear.

(3,208 posts)and the environment? I was always under the impression that is what we had regulations for. If this is just about perpetuating the myth of lowering taxes to make things better for the economy, why not use the word taxes and not regulations?
