(90,364 posts)... ANY payments not approved by congress (as the clause reads) is a violation of the constitution.
They're dead on right and MiniPoots team is claiming they'll section profits but profits is a narrow view of ANY PAYMENTS.
The USSC will have a challenge with this IMHO, Roberts is a hack... we'll see how they vote

I'm not a lawyer, so I could be entirely wrong, but people can still sue the various Trump businesses and entities, which is entirely separate from what the Fresh Air piece is about.
