Trump Aide Just Revealed Trump Is Bored As President, Likes To Watch TV

Three days into his presidency, all indications show that as much of the nation feared, Trump is nowhere near up to the task of running this country. POLITICO reports that his aides are already trying to cure him of his “worst habits,” which include getting bored and watching television instead:

One person who frequently talks to Trump said aides have to push back privately against his worst impulses in the White House, like the news conference idea, and have to control information that may infuriate him. He gets bored and likes to watch TV, this person said, so it is important to minimize that.

This person said that a number of people close to him don’t like saying no — but that it has to be done. “You can’t do it in front of everyone,” this person said. “He’s never going to admit he’s wrong in front of everyone. You have to pull him aside and tell him why he’s wrong, and then you can get him to go along with you. These people don’t know how to get him to do what they need him to do.”

Reports also indicate that on Inauguration Day, Trump began reading negative Twitter messages about himself and grew furious at the mockery and the criticism he was receiving.

While it is well-known that the adjustment from public citizen to POTUS is a difficult one, Trump is resisting all attempts to encourage him to change his habits and not behave like an impulsive, spoilt bully who obsesses over perceived slights and is hellbent on revenge for petty squabbles.

“He can never let go and stop watching cable TV. Now he’s off to the worst start of a presidency in a very long time” says presidential historian Douglas Brinkley.

If these were just his issues, no big deal. But his issues will be our issues until he vacates the Oval Office.

Even though he spent four or more years at a military school, due to his wealth and his upbringing he may have never learned discipline or self discipline. How hard has he had to work all his life. Did he ever have a real job that required him to get up early in the morning, work late at night, and not watch TV? It is very possible that Donald Trump is just continuing the habits he learned throughout his life.

than he spends in it. Republicans who criticized President Obama's vacation time while ignoring Bush's vacation time will again put on their Sargeant Shultz helmet.

I saw it in Austin several times, people saying they didn't fear anymore, and felt good about themselves and the future.

There is genuine therapy in direct action politics.

Mr. Obama had little if any time to waste on TV. You know being President requires certain skill sets, and the new Baby King appears to be many of these skill sets.

""The truth of the matter is he had a successful inauguration with a respectful crowd. The transition of power went off without a hitch. His supporters were amiable by and large," said Douglas Brinkley, a presidential historian. "But then he can never let go and stop watching cable TV. Now he's off to the worst start of a presidency in a very long time."

He will look like a whirling dervish in front of the camera, but even his aides tell a different story.

He never grew up because of this. He never would have amounted to anything had he not been given his wealth because everything is about fun! Building big buildings and picking out the furniture and designs and putting his name on it or owning a beauty pageant. That is all he is about period!
