...The owner of the Falcons franchise is bringing EVERYONE who works in the Falcons organization to the Super Bowl. Where are you getting "Sounds like an excuse to not pay them fair wages"?

Not yours. It was meant as a continuation of yours. I think scscholar's post is horrifying.

the Seattle Seachickens, Mariners (they are a baseball team), and the Sounders (one of those soccer teams which is why everyone refused to go). The owner actually thought it would be motivating.

...for EVERYONE in the organization to attend ON HIS DIME, BECAUSE THEY ARE ALSO PART OF THE TEAM. I think it's a great gesture and in the true spirit of TEAM.

Your boss giving you tickets to sporting events that you may or may not have interest in in lieu of raises is a shitty thing to do.

PS: I lived in the PacNorWest for 16 years. Just moved back to AZ last year. Seachickens are fine, Sounders OK and the Mariners... well, somebody's got to play at the Safe.

Or if he didn't offer to get them all to Houston and put them up in hotels. A million bucks for your employees to maybe see their organization win their first Super Bowl?

Anyway - his employees probably appreciate it/him - ever been to a Super Bowl? Its a hell of a good time!

According to Jeff Schultz of the Atlanta Constitution-Journal, franchise owner Arthur Blank is paying to send every Falcons employee — every single one! — to Houston for the big game.

Falcons owner Arthur Blank plans to take every employee in organization to Super Bowl. We're talking hundreds.

— Jeff Schultz (@JeffSchultzAJC) January 23, 2017
As SB Nation revealed, there are approximately 270 employees in the Falcons directory, and the cheapest Super Bowl tickets are currently listed at over $3,000. When you factor in travel arrangements, we're talking well over $800,000.

********

What a NICE GESTURE. Too bad more owners don't emulate the gesture and really epitomize TEAM SPIRIT.

ATLANTA - As the Atlanta Falcons get prepared to head to Houston for Super Bowl LI, so are the organization’s nearly 500 employees.

Falcons president and CEO Rich McKay said in a statement Monday: “Football is the ultimate team sport and it goes way beyond the people you see on the field. It takes a lot of people to operate a successful NFL team and the staff works very, very hard all year round. Arthur loves the associates and one of our core values is ‘Include Everyone.’ He wants those who have helped our team reach the Super Bowl to have the chance to see the game live in Houston.”

The details of the trip are still being worked out at this point.

The Falcons will play the AFC champion Patriots in the Super Bowl on Feb. 5.

Belichick is bringing his guy to tape the Falcons walk through, McDaniels is bringing his guy to do the same, Brady will be bringing the guys to deflate the footballs and his fraudulent "guru".Plus whoever else they have helping to cheat.

If a team cheats on what they contend only gave them a 1% edge, then it's only logical that they cheat in other ways.
