(14,040 posts)She has a 47/21 approval spread. And she was the one that ended up taking Clinton's seat in NY when Kennedy dropped out of that race.

(1,803 posts)It's not likely that a Republican could win statewide office in NY right now. Dems easily carry the State by winning NYC and a handful of cities/districts upstate, which is not too difficult notwithstanding the fact that rural upstate NY might as well be Dumbfuckistan.
