5. Americans know O'Leary from Shark Tank

In Canada he's better known for a similar show called Dragons' Den. One of the investors who worked alongside of him is named Arlene Dickenson. They often had a rather cantankerous relationship on the show, and one may have thought it was an act for the sake of ratings.

But Dickenson recently spoke out on O'Leary's decision to run for the Conservative leadership and she cut him off at the knees. Good on her!

He is probably the worst, most heartless "shark". It's all about $$$$s with him and nothing else. The others, of course, want to make money, but they also want to help the people and businesses they invest in succeed.

He's made a few missteps in his first year but he has lots of potential to leave a great legacy. And like Obama, I believe he is at good human being at his core.
