Let me get this straight - NAFTA and the Pipelines

Trump is wanting to build a huge pipeline to move Canadian Oil Tar Sands down to the Gulf Coast for processing....

Yet, he wants to renegotiate NAFTA to destroy the trade agreement with Canada that makes this possible...

TPP will never include provisions to allow the currency extensions he wants included. He cares less about the rest of it.

NAFTA is going to be fun now the Canadians can spank his butt by using this as a negotiating tool. The pipelines are useless without oil going thru them and that requires Canadian permission.

It was always a way for America to expand it's influence in the Pacific rim. It was not ever really a trade deal in the conventional sense.

TPP should have been abandoned. It is just a shame that we gave the current President an easy win by leaving it out there. Progressives should have buried that thing 2 years ago.
