I think the best to way deal with Trump supporters at work, or in your family, is not to argue with them. They get a charge out of that. It's exciting for them. It's what they thrive on.

Instead, I believe the best approach is to just let your face show the pity and disgust that you're feeling. Shake your head sadly, and say something like, "Wow. You really buy that? That's really whack." And walk away.

It's very deflating for the Trumpsters, and it helps perhaps to give them a glimpse of how they look to the world at large, outside of their propaganda circle-jerk.

They certainly screwed me and others. My only reaction to a Herr Twittler von Shit Gibbon voter is "Dumb ass.", and I'm done talking to them. I don't care if it's "effective" in winning them over. I don't want them on "my team". This includes two of my brothers and possibly one of my sisters.

They don't give a damn about anybody else so F 'em all.
