Just moments ago, the Virginia House of Delegates advanced a bill to restrict workers' wages. House Bill 1753 is headed for a final vote on Monday and we need your help to stop it.
H.B. 1753 aims to undermine labor standards and cut wages by preemptively weakening standards that protect the earnings of workers. This legislation is designed to not only lower wages and labor standards but also hi-jack decision-making power from local officials when they are contracting services in their locality. Virginia's workers deserve better.
Contact your delegate today! Urge them to vote NO on H.B. 1753!
