Poison

Truman was president when I was born. Eisenhower was the first president I remember, he and Mamie seemed like everyone’s grandparents. By the time JFK came along I’d learned to pay attention, to be engaged in the discourse. Some presidents I liked, some I disliked. There have been measures of approval and disapproval. A couple of them have inspired us to be better. A couple of them angered the nation. Out of all the presidents in my lifetime, only one has horrified the world; and he took office only one week ago. And every day, tweet by tweet, executive order by executive order, he vows to continue on that path. Where most administrations at least give voice to some promise, this one has chosen to be a threat. He is turning the blessing of America into an international curse.

the poor, the working poor, and the lower middle class. It does not matter if you voted for him or not if you are in any of those categories you are in for an unbelievable world of hurt. I am one of those categories and I a scared and I have actually been crying.
