1. Who wants to blow things up. Well, we don't have to ask what could go wrong.

We didn't even vote for this assh*le nor did our Congress confirm him.

wanting "to bring down the state" doesn't make you a leninist.

It does, however, make for a serious problem when someone with that attitude gets access to the levels of power that he currently has. It's horrifying.

Whether true or not he needs that claim tied around his neck in my opinion.
Let the Trumpanzees realize this.

9. Trump claims he's intelligent. I don't believe that, either.

(Also, Bannon apparently once described himself that way to a writer at a party, in a conversation that he won't now corroborate. I haven't seen evidence he actually claims (present tense) he is a Leninist, even if he once claimed (rhetorically) that he was.)

But this notion seems a bit like Hitler's claim that communists and Jews were working together. Cognitive dissonance?

His goal is not communistic or socialistic. It is authoritarian in nature. He believes that a dictatorship is the most desirable form of government.

He is a very dangerous person to have anywhere in government.

however, I have a passing acquaintance with history, and I know some things.

The thing about "destroying the government" is pretty standard in the Handbook on how to create a dictatorship. Democracy has some inherent weaknesses that can be exploited by strongmen who can enveigle a way to circumvent and take advantage of the rules.

Bannon may or may not be a "leninist" but he is definitely an authoritarian. Ideological nuances aside, he's a dangerous man.

Everyone quotes from '1984', but at the rate our POTUS is going, you'll all need to get familiar with 'The Road'. #StopPresidentBannon

I don't know how exactly Bannon classifies himself, but cheeze, the stench of sulfur is strong in this one and he's just got to move on down the line. ASAP.
