Can we assume that trump will attempt to control the internet and communications infrastructure?

I expect a tragedy soon, be it real or manufactured, wherein the military will be mobilized to provide "security".

I expect the internet to be their next target. The internet is where the Resistance communicates, rallies to protest, and shares damning information. The tyrant must stop all of these.

What do we do when the internet goes silent, when civilian cell phones go quiet?

I say we Jam the streets in every central location. We take over state capital grounds, public spaces, and even the grounds in D.C.

It's grey and there's a cold wind blowing.

through the use of posters, meetings, land line phones, word of mouth and snail mail. It's not as fast or efficient but it can be done. We can do it again if we have to.

that's why they voted for him. Please stop trying to have a fail safe for the way you voted. I never believed that line no not at all.

I don't think they will be able to clamp down the internet...that genie is out of the bottle...they can't even stop foreign hacks. There is no way in the world they would screw with people's phones...almost the whole country would be up in arms...including his followers. Even the die hard ones would have to question that.

any kind of cell phone outage...especially if the cause is traced back to Trashpot. That would be just the thing (sadly)to get the attention of every man woman and child of all ages, races, creeds or party affiliation. Bring it on Trashpot!

have a contingency plan for just his scenario. Perhaps calling trees to activate zones, etc.....Once the plan is done, it needs to be disseminated to those that need the information before such a situation arises, and sadly I think the internet would be cut if the Con needed to silence us.

Would satellite phones still work? I would think they'd kill the cell phones and most of us no longer have land lines. How about CB radios or perhaps there are still Ham operators? This avenue might be worth pursuing. I had an Uncle that was a ham operator. Actually saved some stranded folks in boats down near florida many years ago. Heard their distress signals.

Another thought......morse code?

Can't imagine how I'd feel if the so much as looked at the internet...besides there are too many corporations with remote workers who depend on the internet...would not be feasible, if they can't get to corporate VPN's
