Joy Reid might be on the chopping block! Just announced on Thom Heartamann. Her contract

expired a month ago and she's been working without one. I'm so sad. SI honestly thought she would get her own show! Also just found THIS online:

http://mtonews.com/msnbc-shocker-network-fires-joy-reid-demote-al-roker-tamron-hall-replace-fox-news-alternate-facts-reporters/

January 30, 2017: There’s a seismic SHIFT in MSNBC – it can no longer be seen as the trusted source of news for African-American folk anymore.
The top brass at the network have either FIRED or DEMOTED all the top African-American news anchors – and replaced them with FOX News “ALTERNATIVE FACTS” Republican reporters.

Last week, the network announced that it was ending Tamron and Al’s highly rated Today Show extension – and replacing it with Megyn Kelly – from FOX News. Megyn has been known for using “Alternative Facts” in her reporting, especially with regards to African Americans and Latinos.

Now Page Six claims that they are firing Joy Reid, to make room for new correspondent Greta Van Susteren – another Fox News “alternative facts” Republican reporter.

even if they keep Hayes, Maddow and O'Donnell.
I'd be done completely if they get rid of Joy.

As to the other 'source':

“They haven’t renewed her contract. She’s been working without a contract for at least a month,” an insider told us.

An MSNBC spokesperson, however, insisted that Reid “is working under contract. And the network wants her to stay.”

Not to say that it couldn't happen, but sources are important.

Carve 30 minutes out of both Anderson Cooper & Don Lemon's snooze fest, and that's an hour show for one of the most prepared journalists on TV.

She's already at the back of the line on weekends.

How many black journalists with their own show, right now?

Republicans are becoming less and less popular by the day, literally. By the hour.

Why on earth would MSNBC deliberately pass on a chance to be a source of news for people who are engaged and interested in progressive and liberal news? That would be so DUMB.

That's why Joe S. is so beloved. He can get Republican power brokers on his show and get inside information from them if he treats them nicely which he does. Greta can get Republicans as well.

That they would move O'Donnell out of 10 pm - would love to see Twitty moved out and frankly Chris Hayes is just not my favorite - more light weight that Maddow and O'Donnell.

Could see O'Donnell, Reid and Maddow with 10 pm going to whomever.
