Could Trump and Bannon be deliberately trying to provoke predominantly Muslim countries?

What if the Trump-Bannon coalition is anxious to anger and frustrate Muslims both here in the United States and around the world so that they will commit acts of violence against us and our citizens abroad precisely so that Trump has a powerful excuse to use intense military force against. Muslims in our own nation, and in countries in the Middle East? Although I have no proof of such motives, I sincerely wonder if the current administration is counting on increased terrorist attacks to justify unprecedented military action - which might be supported by the majority of Americans, if we feel we are under serious attack by Muslims. This seems pernicious, but does not feel as if it is outside the motives of Trump and his cronies. What do you think?

1. They are just being racist/bigoted. And they are solidifying their ignorant white wing base.

That base thinks Trump is a good businessman and drool over the way he discriminated against Blacks in housing.

2. I wouldn't be surprised if that was part of the Trump/Bannon agenda

If so, watch for the Muslim registry to come down the pike soon. Hope that gets tossed out in court too.

5. It would not surprise me.

After 9/11 bush/cheney could and did whatever they wanted and had an 80% approval rating while doing it. If we were to get attacked in a major way the "fear" meter would go off the scale and Trump/Bannon would have zero opposition to implement anything they wanted to do.

Here is to hoping that something like this does not happen (ever), and that opposition does unite to get both of these men as far away from the levers of power they currently have their hands on.
