1. I think he just wants to feel loved again... like during the campaign.

There may be violence, but I wonder how many of his supporters will show up in Miami, a fairly liberal part of Florida. They may be outnumbered.

4. Yes, less than 3 weeks in office, he's announced his 2020 candidacy

so he's going to start campaigning every single week to rouse the rabble and feel the love.

I'm sure there will be a sizable claque from Ave Maria City.

8. It's actually in Melbourne, which is a couple of hours up the coast.

It's not quite as liberal as South Florida, but Florida's a big state so there could be both a lot of supporters and protesters who could make it there. Melbourne's less than an hour from Orlando and only a couple of hours from Tampa, Jacksonville and Miami/Fort Lauderdale/West Palm Beach.

they can put his craving for adulation to work, as Thrill says.

Not to repel everyone with boasts of my own greatness, but just a couple days ago I predicted he would go try to relive his glory days of the primary, and his imagined "popular vote" win, with a rally.

(Forgive me, I'm an incurable optimist, thus usually wrong these days, and a break in my losing streak feels good. )

6. Agree with both of you that he needs the love

But I'm convinced there is a darker reason, like being the catalyst for violence and blaming the protesters.
