Harrison died from pneumonia 31 days after his inauguration, making him the shortest serving President in history. This is his best chance to lose that title forever, but that means you-know-who has to quit by the 19th (Sunday).
Based on yesterday's press conference, he looks like he's only barely hanging on mentally. How do we get him the rest of the way there?

(11,257 posts)And I want him to be lucid enough to see the stain he leaves on the country's legacy, knowing that with every day that passes, he becomes more of a pariah.
I've said the same thing about both Bush and Cheney, although Trump has largely let them off the hook by comparison.

(9,313 posts)I have a problem with the notion that "Bush looks good by comparison."
Bush and Cheney are election thieves and war criminals. The only remedy is prosecution.
When congress let them "off the hook" they paved the way to Trump. We are seeing what happens when you don't call on the nation hold the torturers accountable for their actions (as when Obama gave CIA torturers blanket immunity).
Apologies if I sound a bit testy, but this hits a sore spot.
