Discussion Topics That Have Disappeared on DU.

I just realized that I have not seen any posts about topics that were constantly featured on DU not long ago. It appears that we are done with decrying things like:

The Third-Way - I haven't seen that term here for a long, long time.
The DLC - Threads about that long defunct organization were once common here.
Democrats as Corporatists - I'm not seeing discussions about that, either, thank goodness.
Democrats & Republicans the Same - This one seems to have vanished, too.
Julian Assange as Savior - Uff da!

May those topics never return. Let's move on to deal with restoring democracy in this country.

1. All those who pushed those topics are either appropriately mortified about the fact that

they worked to undermine the Hillary campaign and thereby were instrumental in bringing us the worst president in world history...

... OR they are counting the money they earned as Trumptrolls and renewing their Breitbart subscriptions...

... OR they are over at JPR, still applauding Manny's eternal "Third Way" screeds and reliving the nineties.

2. Whatever the reason, DU is a lot more friendly these days.
