would hire trumplethinskins hookers to piss on his mother's grave if it meant he would gain political power without actually doing anything.

that DT isn't like Bush or any other R that we've dealt with ever -- and the threat he poses to our democracy is unique.

If McCain is going to oppose DT, I don't care what McCain's flaws are or what mistakes he's made in the past. He's in a position to influence other Senators to start fighting DT. We should all be encouraging him to stay on that path-- along with every other R who seems inclined in that direction.

We won't succeed with the help of Dems alone.

He still can be counted on to make a strong basic case for a free press, and another against the use of torture, among other things. There is no lack of a lack of courage among Congressional Republicans when it comes to Trump. But when it comes to the fundamental health of our democracy, concern for that can't remain framed as a partisan issue. Some Republicans need to step up also. I'll credit McCain for doing so when he does.

Still remember this Guy when he was in Congress. It was all about who do I need to eliminate in order to be Senator and with Keating Family help,he pulled it off. Remember, this Guy was the go to bag man in the Keating five scandal and that stink will never wash off in Washington D C. Just a useful tool to the GOP.
