I Love Larry Wilmore and I miss him.

I was unable to watch "Real Time" last night because I knew I couldn't stomach Yannopoulos, so I just watched a couple of out takes instead. Watching Wilmore telling Yannopoulos to "go fuck yourself" and then say "your bitchy little ass" made my night. We need more of Wilmore, IMO, and less of Maher--who was worthless against Yannopoulos. My two cents.

I think he just wasn't ready for his own show. The day after Obama won and he took over for Jon was my fav daily show of all time.

'religiously'. there were things I would have changed but CC is more restrained than HBO or TBS

I think he needs to be cut loose as he was on this panel

4. Maher actually said Milo's transgender bathroom exclusion demands were "not unreasonable."

And let him get away with the false claim that transgender people commit higher rates of sex crimes than the general population. Thank goodness Larry Wilmore and Malcolm Nance were there to call Milo on his shit.

Then Maher blathered on about how Milo was "just at the beginning" of his career, suggesting Milo was going to be a big star. Maher really did everything he could to legitimize that fuckwit Nazi. I was so disgusted.

Here's a good refutation of Milo and Maher's bullshit from last night: http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_58a84dcae4b07602ad551487?

and come out eventually. This sounds like flirtation to me. While I agree with Maher on many issues, in particular calling extremist islam what it is, his misogyny has always irritated the bejesus out of me and maybe this is the root of it.

I wanted more Larry and less from the discussion table. I really miss him too.

I didn't much care for the format either. Maybe a talk show with one or two guests per episode? But you're right, more Larry.

I agree that the format needed work, but it was potentially a great show and they didn't give it enough of a chance.

The stoner kid was my least favorite, he was really "out to get" Hillary, but the rest of them I'd love to see in ANYTHING!

I really loved Mike Yard as well. Why isn't he all over the place?

Trevor got the Nightly Show.

To me, it seems as if that would have been a better fit for both.

The whole cast and writers were brilliant. We lost them, but we (re)gained Sam Bee and John Oliver.

I only recently found the courage, finally, to watch the final episode of Nightly. Still miss 'em.
