I think he realized there were millions of people now covered that would lose coverage if it was repealed and decided to take the bullit for the right.

the guy is dangerous. As I posted in another thread, Roberts, the corporate lawyer, protected health insurance companies and gave the right wing 2 huge issues in November as well as unlimited money via Citizens United to blast it. The war will be hell.

to reclaim any sense of judicial weight--particularly since CU was his decision to take beyond the narrow scope of its original issue.

Every politician who supports the ACA now will be relentlessly pilloried as a tax-raiser. It will be something else for Congress to vent their faux outrage over instead of doing anything about jobs.

for the Court, but Citizens United was the worst decision since Bush v. Gore. One of the worst in history, in fact.

he's a good Justice, but he's still earth-shakingly wrong on way too many things.

Souter - I'm afraid that's a once in a lifetime wonderful occurrence.
