who then voted 3rd party or not at all will never stop the whining.

That is why you can say goodbye to nice things, between the racists who vote for trump because of racism and nothing else and these folks, we are done.

and it's dumb. The DNC will be fine. That tool DWS is gone; Perez is a solid liberal with great credentials, and he will have the assistance and full support of Ellison. The DNC election was not a Bernie vs. Hillary proxy war and I wish people would stop acting like it was.

Some people will never let this go and I imagine my ignore list will be expanding again in the next few days.

I support Perez. I would have supported Ellison. Now it's time to get back to the work of trying to expand the party and take this opportunity to knock Republicans out of their safe seats and back to probating wills in Podunk.

I think it's counter productive to let that become a springboard to complain about other people who still might be disappointed in his loss of the race, less than an hour after the results were known.

Both Keith and Tom are handling this in a superb manner so far - can we keep the focus on that, and help them both help others come around to the same place?

He would have pushed Ellison off to the side once he won, not embraced him and brought him immediately on board. As much as I loved President Obama, not embracing Howard Dean or his strategies once he won gave me a bad feeling, and that bad feeling proved to be very prescient.

As I've stated in other threads, I see no cause for anything other than smiles right now. And I'm as anti-establishment as they come at this point. So let's all get together and offer whatever services we can to help Mr. Perez, and Mr. Ellison (and hopefully some of the many Ms.'s that they will be bringing on board as well) get us back on top and stem this tide of shit being brought on by Trump and company.

I think there are some real rising stars in this group. I hope they give them responsibilities that will keep them very involved in party organization.
