Bluest blue, deepest red, 50-state, wall to wall, anywhere and everywhere

That's where we have to bring our fine-tuned message. We can't choose between urban and rural, between big donors and small donors, between blue and red. We have to develop a simple, solid, memorable message and ask for help from every voter who (in general) believes as we do....no matter their party affiliation.

It's not going to matter what platform we have or how much money we raise if Republicans maintain the majority of state offices, the House, the Senate and the White House. Unless we win more elections, our priorities will be DOA.

I favor the Big Tent approach. If someone votes for one of our candidates, I don't care if they are Republican, Democrat, Independent, Green, Libertarian, or have no real party affiliation. I'd just be appreciative of their vote.

I don't see the value in hammering away at voters who may not have a (D) by their name but may be aligned with most Democratic Party values. What's the point? At the moment, we control almost nothing, which tells me we need more support. We can reject all the non-(D) people, or we can listen, try to understand, and ask for their help.
