On December 5, 2016, former Vice President Al Gore met with President-Elect Trump.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss climate change.
After the meeting, Gore said this:
"I had a lengthy and very productive session with the President-elect," Gore said, according to the pool report. "It was a sincere search for areas of common ground. I had a meeting beforehand with Ivanka Trump. The bulk of the time was with the President-elect, Donald Trump. I found it an extremely interesting conversation, and to be continued, and I'm just going to leave it at that."

Two days later, Trump choose Scott Pruitt, a skeptic on climate change, to head the Environmental Protection Agency.

He subsequently ordered climate change data removed from the EPA website.
Bottom line: Trump's word is cheap.
Very cheap.
Extremely cheap.
Having a Trump Steak with a shot of Trump Vodka while flying on Trump Shuttle to a Trump University seminar being held at Trump Taj Mahal cheap.
