WITHOUT DEMOCRATIC CONTROL OF BOTH HOUSES NO TRUMP TAXES.

I am screaming this and this ought to be a part of the 2018 campaign. If the public really wants to know how much Russia or anyone else controls 45, they will have to elect Democrats to find out.

Hiding your taxes is an indication that there is something to hide. Every friggin candidate for the Presidency ought to be required to show at least the last 5 years of their taxes.

Trump still knows what businesses he owns and can made decisions to benefit them even if he, nor his family are involved. A true blind trust would require liquidation of business assets to be reinvested in things he can have no knowledge of.

1. Trump has stepped down from all leadership positions, but he still owns all the shares in all the companies.

2. The best guess I have read so far is that Trump cannot possibly divest, even if he wanted to: Divesting means selling your assets and putting the money into new investments. But what if Trump's current investments are so deeply underwater and bogged down by loans that he would go broke by divesting?
What if Trump cannot divest because it would expose that his business-empire is a house of cards held up by debts and loans?

I mean this is a guy who couldn't make a profit on a casino, for goodness sake. I think you're onto something there.

Take that to the bank

The American system is way more powerful than Groper Don the Con and his racist Confederate goons.

(I'm talking in the permanent sense), and even then, the offspring will fight tooth and nail to keep them private.

I just hope I'm alive to see them revealed!

will give us access to Trump's taxes. There are committees in both houses that have the right to obtain access of tax returns. Taking back one of the houses would give the Democrats the majority on that house's committees and thus access to the tax returns.

Of course control of both houses would be better.

...and watched the 2 hr special on MSNBC about the ongoing and constantly updating "Russia" story. Someone on there said 45's taxes need to be studied going back into the '90's because his whole financial mess goes back that far.

in the course of an investigation. Even so, I suspect much of Trump's so called 'deals' are done off the books in shady schemes that no one will ever find.
