every time I stir, it seems the tv is blaring some new scandal. I'm actually quite anxious for the lid to finally blow off so I can relax a little, while the politicos argue about the way forward. At this point, I really don't care who takes over, as long as this madman, criminal, mafioso leaves office without starting world war 3.

(206,601 posts)I had dental surgery on election day, woke up on the couch at about 3am, just in time to see the unbelievable on the TV. I've been hoping it was a bad dream ever since...

(15,374 posts)I don't believe that we will ever be able to "relax" again, so long as the Senate, the House and too many state houses and legislatures remain in GOPer hands.
Yes, the removal of Trump by one means or another might tamp down the most insane headlines. But it won't stop the RW agenda which continues - inexorably.

(10,252 posts)You cannot be effective if you are constantly anxious and stressed out. The only way out of this mess is by winning elections from local, state, and national levels. You can be a hero simply by calming down, having a clear calm and focused mind on organizing with others in your local area to WIN ELECTIONS. Don't just sit around being freaked out and crying "woe is me." We need you and every other person to help us in this fight tom take our country back!
