Missed yesterday's #StPatricksDay concert? No worries, join me in Baltimore tonight - 2 shows at @creativalliance: http://www.creativealliance.org/events/2017/omalleys-march

Maryland’s own Martin O’Malley, and his hot shot band, celebrates St. Paddy’s day in true Baltimore style.

Former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley wields his guitar with authority. Tonight, he returns to his home stage here at the Patterson, over St. Patirck’s Day weekend, with his fiery 7-piece Irish pub rock band O’Malley’s March. Amid covers of The Pogues, O’Malley mixes in his own songs that range from an anthem about the Battle of Baltimore to a lullaby about a mariner’s homecoming. O’Malley leads the group on acoustic guitar, occasional penny whistle and vocals. Among the standouts on stage are Jared Denhard (Irish harp, highland pipes, trombone); Jim Eagan on fiddle; and Sean McComiskey on button accordion. This show always sells out, so get your tickets and be prepared for a good time.

He did that all through his mayoral term and since. I think he suspended during his governor terms, but he always comes back.

Yeah, they're really pretty damned good.
