To any Trump voter looking in who just found out that Trump has abandoned you

Like her or not, Hillary Clinton would have had your back. She would have been there for YOU today, tomorrow, and the next day. She would not have abandoned you like that lying filthy piece of garbage you voted for. Neither would ANY Democrat. Please wake the fuck up, will you?

I warned her very nicely. I said, don't do it. Don't make the perfect the enemy of the good. Cut your losses and live to win on another day.

She didn't. HRC took the state where she lives, so in one respect, it didn't matter. But the event did show me how the ideal sometimes eclipses the practical, no matter what. My guess is that her focusing on her ideal is similar to Trumpy Fanboys who fail to see the multi-layered lies, and the negative effects, in which Trumpy and his inner circle wallow.

An Amendment for equal representation as to do with electoral college, voting accommodations and other ills that are latched onto our system of government is the only thing that will change it. If and when a very large majority figure it out and then demand it then things will just stay the same.

The electoral college cobbled together to appease the wealthy and landed who often were also slave owners. It insured as long as they had seven of the thirteen in their control they could keep things as they were. The most important thing for the government as far as the wealthy are concerned, even till this very day, is to keep things like they are

Have you looked at Discussionist? They start several threads a day about what we talk about here.

Our conversations are why this site was attacked on election day - the hackers read this message board and wanted to shut our speech down.

In addition to those, JPR, reddit, conservative cave, and freerepublic report on what is said here.

Their readers sometimes post here, but it doesn't take long to get rid of the trolls. They're really not very bright and are more interested in flinging their own shit than in using what's left of their brains.

The same unhinged histrionics that brought us Donald Trump.

If you think a couple of speeches to banks (speeches which when leaked were so fucking weak that all talk about them dried up and disappeared except from some rabid BoBer's, Hillary haters and right wingnuts) were the biggest threat to humanity, then you lose any and all credibility. Especially when accusing others of histrionics.

One lamented to me the other day that her Mom needs Meals on Wheels and her Medicare and Social Security, she asked "you don't think they will take that too do you". I told her that was their plan and I'm sorry she didn't see the con.
