We were hit by some surprise snow, yesterday and this morning. I'm glad to say it is fast disappearing.

I really need to distraction that gardening and yard work provides. I mean, I really REALLY need the distraction!!

Southern Colorado.

I'm kind of worried about a very, very, very hot summer.

It's almost 90 there. In Cheyenne, Wyoming, it's chilly at about 73.

Honestly, I'd like to send some of this warmth to the northern parts of the country that are shivering.

Technically Lakewood, but close enough.

I saw a robin in the back yard yesterday. That means it's spring.

Pueblo, on the Front Range

There aren't blooms yet, but they're up. Some are five or six inches. There are leaves on my trees and on my lilac bush. It bothers me to see things happening so early.

We have nice moderate weather here, but the downside is that we really don't seem to have much Spring. It just sort of jumps from winter into summer. This weekend it was in the upper 80s, but will be a little cooler through the week. The average for this time of year is about 60. I'm afraid we're going to be burning up in about a month. That does not please me.

Soooo, I haven't even started getting my paperwork ready for my accountant for my taxes, and now I have to try to schedule in yard work. It's going to be a rough week.
