Nunes thing mystifies.

I know he's dumb as a box of rocks. But I can only assume info was classified. Why would he put himself in that jackpot? If he's that dumb that is a horrible reflection on Rs governance. I would assume he's looking at charges.

#1, they're all about p.r.

#2, they're completely inept at government because they fundamentally don't believe in good governance.
all government is good for is taxing people, the more the non-rich, the better (while letting democrats take the blame; see item #1), to build up a fat treasury to loot, via tax breaks and such for contributors who kick back 1%. so all they care about once they're in is paying off their donors. and advancing p.r. to preserve their power.

moreover, their p.r. has become highly distorted over the last couple decades in particular, thanks to gerrymandering in house districts and the balkanization of the media, particularly due to foxnews and hate radio.

which leads to crazy results like nunes compromising an investigation and putting himself at risk of prosecution just for the sake of giving their party leader and others in the party a possible one-day news cycle talking point.

6. Wonder if he's worried about losing everything he has?

According to the Los Angeles Times he has $50,000 of his own money tied up in the winery, which is remarkable considering that the same report lists his total net worth at just $51,002. In other words, the winery is all Nunes has.

Comey is in avoiding a hint of exposure of classified info. He said several things that sounded 'careless' and 'reckless'.

Let's see if Trey Gowdy has 12 months of hearings over that carelessness.
