Had she done anything, the kids would have screamed bloody murder or the parents would have made a snit, or sued, or both.

A couple of those kids could have used a good slap across the face, but of course had that happened they would have screamed about "child abuse" and Klein would have found herself arrested.

3. Comments in the local fishwrap (the Democrat and Chronicle)

seem to have turned to the "blame the victim" meme now, too. "She failed to do her job" is the predominant theme.

Some of it, though, just seems to be code for "I'm so jealous of the money she's received!"
