In celebration of Muslim Women’s Day on March 27, Teen Vogue is highlighting the real stories of Muslim women.

If you could send a message to President Donald Trump, what would you want him to know?"

Fresh U asked nine Muslim women college students around the U.S. this question; ahead, see what they had to say:

"[Statistics show] your campaign/presidency is correlated with a massive increase in hate crimes. Stop denying your responsibility for this, and please start listening. We the people (the minorities) ARE your country, and we deserve to be valued as humans."

As president, it’s your role to protect the rights of all people in the United States — not just citizens, not just the wealthy, and not just those who look like you. How can we be the land of the free when you have [Bannon] as your chief [strategist] and are supporting policies that infringe on the rights of … marginalized groups in the United States? As long as I have a platform, I'm going to use it to remind everybody that you do not deserve to be president. From your perspective, I may just be another angry Muslim woman, but this angry Muslim woman isn't going to back down from a fight, so get ready for the fight of your life."
