Lindsey Graham booed at town hall after saying he will vote for Gorsuch

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) was met with loud boos from constituents at a town hall on Saturday, after telling the crowd he was planning to vote for President Trump's Supreme Court pick.

Graham, who is one of the president's most vocal GOP critics, said he thinks Neil Gorsuch is a "highly qualified man."

He cracked a smile and gave a thumbs up as he was met with boos at the Charleston, S.C. town hall, CNN reported.

"I will vote for him because I cannot think of a better person a Republican president could have chosen," he continued.

Some audience members shouted out "Merrick Garland" back at the Republican senator - invoking President Obama's choice for the seat whose nomination died in the Senate.
