The Hillary Uranium/Russia myth DEBUNKED.

No one should believe any story that originated in the book Clinton Cash, as this story did.

But since many people do, here is why the story is a bunch of crap.

http://electionado.com/canvas/1471905575849

In brief, Sec. Clinton had no direct involvement in the approval of the deal and no veto power over it. The deal was actually approved by a committee that not only included the State Dept but almost a dozen ADDITIONAL different government agencies independent of State. The key donors to the Foundation had committed their donations well before they had any inkling of a potential future business deal with Rosatom and well before anyone knew that President Obama was offering Sec. Clinton the role of Secretary of State. Schweizer himself admitted he had no evidence that Sec. Clinton or President Bill Clinton did anything to influence this deal. Finally, Uranium One was forbidden from exporting any uranium from the US to Russia.

where only in the final paragraph , I think, was there mention that Clinton would not have been directly involved.

People still mindlessly share the article in question though because of the sensationalist headline.

But I wouldn't mind if we destroyed a few thousand copies of "Clinton Cash" and "Hillary's America" in a giant bonfire.

I know it has OP, but you STILL have folks on the right who say that Snopes, FactCheck.Org and Politifact back in Sept. 2016 debunked this lie as mostly FALSE. Unfortunately, you have Breitbart, Drudge, crazyman Spicer and other right-winged sites, STILL saying that the "Liberal press" is protecting Hillary in her role concerning the FAKE Uranium to russia deal

It's going to be ULTRA difficult if not next to impossible to fact check claims in the news from now on out, because you have this element of everything reported being called FAKE news by that illegitimate, ruskie-loving, pathological lying president tRumputin, and how many people fact check much of anything that's being said in the media concerning politics pr watch anything concerning the news? You still have people when interviewed, blaming Pres. Obama for retired coal miners losing their health care and and pensions at the end of April (This month) in West Virginia The ones I saw never mentioned tRumputin or the GOP Congress. Only Pres. Obama and Dems.

There comes a time when even if you show people evidence via news print and video and they still don't believe it, then OH WELL, to hell with them. I ONLY feel sorry for those who are in red states/and us in blue states who didn't vote for tRumputin who'll suffer in some form or fashion.

i thought this was debunked months ago...

really surprises me that this is the first time some of us here are hearing about the lie.

DNC did a lousy job with this one..

Do you really think most DUers would remember the details that came out in September? All I remembered was that I had dismissed it as a concern -- but I didn't remember why.
