'Alternative scandals' crafted to draw attention away from the real ones:

1. Susan Rice MIGHT have been the one who leaked Flynn's name to the press.

Sorry, boys..I know you're trying, but that's like bringing a squirtgun to a bazooka fight.

It's true that the mere mention of Susan Rice's name to the right wing base is like waving a red flag in front of a bull. They get so enraged that they can't even think straight, which is the whole idea. Props to you for creating that button, and knowing how to push it so skillfully. Wave Susan Rice in front of the Trump base, and they'll go so batshit crazy that they'll forget that the investigation she may or may not have leaked to the press is an investigation into whether Trump committed TREASON by coordinating with Russia to undermine the American democratic system.

And it's working. Fox News spent THE WHOLE DAY today talking about the contrived Rice connection, and didn't mention a word about Flynn, Prince, or Page. But you have to feel sorry for them if they're having to literally throw EVERYTHING THEY'VE GOT at just keeping their BASE distracted from what's actually going on.

(As for Trump's tweets over the weekend, nobody even PAYS ATTENTION to those anymore. Oh, they pay attention to them as proof of his mental illnesses. As proof of the fact that his only link to the outside word is Fox & Friends. But nobody actually pays attention to the CONTENT of the tweets.)
