OH FFS! Kristen Welker (MSNBC WH Reporter)

I will write verbatim, "The President has been alleging that he has been the victim of surveillance, of wiretapping, you remember that tweet, that he put out several weeks ago by the former Obama administration. And also has said that unmasking by the Obama administration has crossed the line. This is some of the clearest indication yet of what he may have been talking about, what he may have been referencing in some of the tweets. And again the push back, and you heard Susan Rice say this, according to her and other Obama administration officials, there was never the intent to learn the identity of these individuals for political purposes and there was no leaking."

Katie Tur called her out that the President said Trump Tower was wiretapped. "Isn't that a pretty definitive statement?"

Kristen responds, "Well it is, but remember, even in the wake of that, Secretary Sean Spicer said that by wiretapping, that he meant surveilled and by surveilled, not necessarily not of Trump Tower but were some of these communications swept up in other communications that the Obama administrations may have been monitoring. And so the developments in recent weeks have put a little bit of meat on those bones. The President himself saying he put the term wiretapping in quotes so I think he was talking about the broader surveillance. But none the less, this is the Trump administrations push back to what they feel has been unfair when it comes to the investigation into what may or may not have been Russian interference into the election."

Katie responded, "certainly the way the administration wants to frame it."

Read carefully what Kristen was doing, reporting tRump talking points as fact, especially "what may or may not have been Russian interference into the election."

How the hell is this person a WH Reporter?

4. When I hear a "reporter"

Speak like a Republican, talking in circuitous BS, then I wouldn't call her great.

To add - I hope she checks out DU, because that was one CLUSTER FUCK of a report.

6. Can't stand her.

She is way more interested in being Spicey's buddy than reporting facts.

Obvious is obvious.

7. Surprising, but I like Welker.

She's done some good reporting, and from what I've seen, her perspective has been objective in her reporting.

8. She got "special" treatment today and was whisked in to see BLOTUS out of the blue.

He must have gifted her a piece of Ivanka jewelry or something because she's been gushy all day long.

10. She's full of shit "tapping" Trump Tower was only sometimes in quotes- which DT uses randomly for

Catchphrases he's signing along others to repeat to fling his bullshit. She should be focusing on the complete legality of what Rice did. Instead she is muddying the waters. Bullshit.

She always emphasized the *OPTICS* of the drip drip drip regarding Hillary but takes a different tone with Trump.

12. If I remember the tweet, it said tapping, no quotes.

How does she know what he meant? She doesn't and it is grossly unprofessional for her to make assumptions, especially since turd has tried to re-frame his tweets several times to seem credible and has never succeeded. It's all about dis-information and distraction.

13. Not funny

People are chuckling right now, but this ends with Trump sending people to try to arrest Obama and/or Hillary. I am serious, this is all they talk about on Right Wing sites, how Obama and Hillary are about to be arrested and jailed for life by Trump.

This is what dictators do, they jail their foes and then invent evidence against them.

14. She may work for MSNBC

But she and Andrea Mitchell are cut from the same cloth. The wiretapping is a non-issue that Trump could have solved immediately with a call to the intel agencies if he was serious about it. We all know he wasn't. As for the reporters, even after Comey said it didn't happen, they still report on it like it did. I like Kristen Welker, but I wonder about her sometimes. Seems like she had an issue with Hillary to me.

17. I don't consider her a great reporter.

The surveilled comment is ridiculous...Trump is a God damn liar. But the press , just like in the election, entertain his lies...I can't stand this reporter and turned the radio off when she was on.

18. Okay, new rule

Reporters can't surmise or guess or infer or otherwise try to put a gloss on something President Trump tweeted. If the words of his tweet don't match up to reality, you don't get to say, "What he meant by that," or "what he may have been talking about," or "here's what he was probably referring to, maybe, if you squint your eyes just right and hold your mouth just so." If the text doesn't match reality, then it's WRONG. It's not your job to try to trim it here and buff it there so that it comes out to something that is maybe comprehensible.

Just stop doing that. Every goddam one of you.
