NY Times had a front page story, and it isn't kind to CNN, or for that matter the cable

news industry. It is a long article, and the link is below, but it encapsulates the thoughts of Les Moonves, the CBS head when he said:

"it may not be good for America, but it's damn good for CBS"

As some have commented, it is the gift that keeps on giving. If you can make the racist, sexist, xenophobe, President by your endless source of entertainment for the masses, it will be great television for everybody, and make CNN richer for it at the same time.

Paddy Chayefsky's Network is a reality, and has been so for some time now

"Inside the strange symbiosis between Jeff Zucker and the president he helped create"

There are other enablers out there for Trump in the media but that doesn't detract from what is needed here and the writer delivers a stiletto prong to CNN.

Zucker's own words spell out his ratings agenda and the notion of journalism, what it means is not what they're about. The forecast on this subject does not look good. How much more disgraceful can it become?

that even though CNN is on the anti-Trump train now, they helped created this awful scenario we are now living in AND, even more importantly, once the country has gone down this path I doubt there'll be going back to a time when we had real journalists.

Life in our country is all about entertainment anyway.

In another front page article, they call the kettle black, and probably another story or two on Clinton emails or Foundation...

Not quite over it yet....

Thanks for the heads-up! The interesting irony here is that we are seeing the next generation of "the news be damned" with Zucker (at age 51) taking up the mantle from people like Moonves (67), Ailes (76)/Rupert Murdoch (86).
