Broadband Privacy Regulations now rescinded - battle shifting to states

A state could require ISPs to provide opt in consent to any tracking. - Nevada has already done so. See what is happening in your state, talk to your state representatives about it. Let ISPs have to lobby in 50 states rather than at one federal level.

Talks about what MN is doing - https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2017/03/isp-privacy-rules-could-be-resurrected-by-states-starting-in-minnesota/ -

Astonishing Op-Ed in Washington Post yesterday by FTC acting chair and FCC chair. A bunch of mumbo-jumbo - literally. Compared ISPs to Google.

Lastly, a really, really good piece responding to WP Op-Ed.

More likely that Congress will step in to "protect consumers" by restricting or eliminating individual state regulation of ISPs 'cause freedom.
