I don't think he's laughing so much though. He has to sit idly by while Shitgibbon looks strong and precedentshul. It goes against Putin's grain to appear weak in anyway at all and I doubt this whole charade (and mass murder/atrocity) was his idea. It speaks to how much money is at stake in getting those sanctions lifted.

I believe this in part due to the lack of any Russian response beyond an official condemnation from the Kremlin. Putin's not weak. He's a cold-hearted, ruthless bastard that in any other non-staged event like this would have responded with some show of force or cyber retaliation. No, I don't believe he's very happy with the boy king right now and the second Putin can still capitalize on Rosneft without Shitgibbon's help, those pee tapes and evidence of collusion will surface even if Putin has to create it himself.

I could be wrong, too. It's happened before.

3. I don't think Putin realized

how dangerously insane trump is. He thought trump would be easier to control. I think he will come to see that he has less control over trump than he anticipated.

Putin and his gang are probably super pissed about how often Shitgibbon shoots himself in the foot. My bet is that after the next and probably soon to happen self inflicted wound occurs, Putin will get fed up and cook his goose. He really doesn't like looking weak even if it pays a trillion dollars.

5. I'm not sure he is actually laughing. But he is playing the US. And he has been. The Russians are

still Russians. the KGB has a different acronym, but it is still the KGB and they are still set on upsetting western governments.

He got 45 elected. Maybe much to his surprise, but Putin and his friends have been playing us for a very long time.
