http://www.rawstory.com/2017/04/firekushner-hashtag-blows-up-twitter-as-trumps-base-turns-on-his-little-snake-son-in-law/
Even as the White House furiously tries to tamp down rumors that it is torn by inner strife and teetering on the verge of firing adviser Stephen Bannon, President Donald Trumps far-right supporters have launched a hashtag campaign calling for the ouster of the presidents son-in-law Jared Kushner.
Kushner has attracted a great deal of media attention over the last two weeks since in addition to his role as Middle East peacekeeper and trade liaison to Canada, China and Mexico it was announced that Kushner would be heading the Office of American Innovation, a bureau designed to streamline and de-bureaucratize the federal government.
Conspiracy monger and far-right radio host Alex Jones dubbed Kushner and Pres. Trumps daughter Ivanka as enemies of the republic after he heard rumors that the pair were largely responsible for the airstrikes in Syria on Thursday night.
This came on top of a series of anti-Kushner hit pieces published by senior White House adviser Stephen K. Bannons former company Breitbart.com.

(29,067 posts)Who the hell IS this guy, anyway, and why would he, at age 36, with NO experience at ALL be any where near foreign affairs?
For what is the first and likely the last time, I agree with Trump's base.

(18,837 posts)That's it in a nutshell...we knew going into this that Trump ultimately trusts no one outside of family.
And as some are saying, Bannon got too much of the spotlight, and the "President Bannon" memes got under Trump's thin skin.
What is surprising, however, is that Trump twisted Don Jr's promise to Kasich when he dangled the VP carrot (that he would be running everything while Trump "made America great again."
Looks like Jared has the Pence job, and Pence has ???

(29,067 posts)with the anti-semitism you attribute, rightly or wrongly, to the Anti-Kushners in Trump's base, and, by association, me
might have substance, were it not for at least two things:
A. Bannon has been kicked off the National.Security team and his power is now, thankfully, limited
while Kushner has been named as HEAD of about eight separate agencies, with no experience in ANY of them.
Hence, there are many legitimate, non-bigoted reasons to question and/or resent Kushner's influence.
B. It's always best to educate yourself on relevant FACTS (see above) before trying to smear another
DUer (one with partial Jewish ancestry, btw) with slimy, false allegations. Try again.

(29,067 posts)I know there is an anti-Semitic element in Trump's base, and you seemed to be implying I shared that just because I was critical of Kushner's role.
I don't necessarily want to "get rid," of Kushner', I'd just like to know, along with many others, why the hell he,'s been appointed to head up about 8 different government agencies when he has no experience or noted expertise in any...Seems like a legitimate question to me.

(41,832 posts)I'm sorry, but if it came down to it, my opinion is that keeping Kushner around is much better for the USA.
Bannon is evil. He is against everything we, as Democrats hold dear.
At least Kushner can maybe, possibly influence Trump to not do crazy shit.
We know that it's been reported that Kushner thinks Bannon is "batshit crazy". That show some sort of intelligence at least.

(6,916 posts)We now know that Russian propagandists distribute information like this to sources like Breitbart, who amplify them in America. And then Fox News picks them up (see CJR article on Russia/Fox/Breitbart).
It is also highly likely some of these Twitter accts are Russian (or GOP?) propagandists.

Bannon should run for office on his own and see what happens.

(9,670 posts)And pursue racketeering charges against everyone in his administration with knowledge of collusion with Russia to throw the 2016 election.
I feel quite certain those charges would pull in Bannon and Kushner, as well as Pence, Priebus, Mrs. Kushner, Flynn, and a whole host of others.
Why choose between the 2 when both can be had for the price of one?
Question is, does justice mean anything in America today? Or is our republic a hollow shell of what we claim it to be?
