Dear Mitch,
I know my Momma would disapprove, but I hate you with the intensity of a million suns. The place where your soul used to reside is where Democracy goes to die, like being sucked into the swirling death vortex of an interstellar black hole. Every day you draw breath ... is one day too long.
That is why I take inordinate pleasure in even small things that prove that your presence in the Universe is unnecessary. Things that disprove your supposed entire reason for being. Things like THIS:
"Kentucky Coal Museum Switches To Solar"
We have been discussing how the Trump Administration seems to be moving aggressively in the opposite direction of much of the world: betting heavily on coal as an energy source as opposed to renewable energy. One group that does not appear onboard with the shift is the Kentucky Coal Mining Museum in Benham, KY. The museum at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College has switched to solar power.
The switch to solar energy will save the museum a copious amount on power costs. The irony was not lost on critics who noted that, as the coal museum switches to solar, the Trump Administration is emphasizing coal. Moreover, as we previously discussed, the emphasis on coal is running against the largest employer in the energy field and one of our greatest growth industries.

Mitch, please suck long and hard on the fact that people of basic knowledge in your own state reject your beliefs. They know better. Yes they do.
Now, once again, against my Momma's teachings, I need to say I hope you join Scalia soon.
Today would be just fine.
But please suck on this little solar tidbit first for me, please.
Yours truly ...
PB
