GWB? His failings explained away as him not being a "real" Conservative.

Trump? Actually is no Conservative.

Moderate Republicans? Driven out by the continuous quest for more purity.

Republicans only cling to power by gaming the system, by breaking the rules, by changing the rules.

Trump lost the popular vote by 2.8 million voters.

Trump won by making huge promises of a better life for white working-class voters. But now he's showing neither interest nor ability to fulfill those promises.
