The GOP tried to plant a setup with Syria and President Obama

The GOP demanded president Obama have congressional approval before he committed an aggressive military action in Syria. If president Obama acted without congress approval the GOP would have tried to impeach him. The GOP would have said President Obama acted illegally.

They were looking for a reason, just like we are looking for a reason to impeach tRump. They couldn't find a reason to impeach Obama, but there are many reasons to impeach tRump
