I've largely (not bigly!) had to check out of politics this week

It's a really hectic time for me so I've been blissfully immersed in garden stuff. I just dipped my toe into things - scanned TPM, Slate and of course, scanned DU.

I can't do it. If you think that everything pisses you off and nothing makes sense after following things closely since the so-called "election" (the results of which I will never accept)....wait until you turn away for a few days.

When you return to things, it is even worse. It just seems insane. There is no way to adjust to this, no way to accept this.

OK - that's it - now back to garden stuff.

I've been immersed in tax bullshit, meaning finding all those little pieces of paper the tax men want you to add up when you've got absolutely no place to store the shit in a very small house.

It's done. Bought my once a year printer ink to print it and now all I have to do is write one small check and mail the bastards.

Everyday I hope something good will happen, and i look at news now like taking a peek through your fingers while watching a horror movie.

We in Seattle are having a rainier, longer winter. I want to garden. Of course, I just signed up to the union rep on my unit, so who am I kidding? I will bask in your gardening.

Fell back into it when the Russian news surfaced in the hopes I'd see something good actually done.
Now the media fell for his Syria bombing scam so I've backed off again.
Why torture myself with the news when none of it is any good?

At least it's baseball season
