Day 85 of Trump Presidency

There is a car wreck by the side of the road and everyone slows down to see what is happening? Was anyone hurt? Was anyone killed?

All Trump - all of the time. Everyday is Groundhog Day.

Instead of a countdown, there is a "count-up". Day 84 of the Trump Presidency. There is an obsession by the media to cover the car wreck.

Naturally, people are inclined to talk about things they cannot understand or disturbs them in some way or another? They are made nervous and anxious by the unknown, by the unpredictable. That is why Trump is on the TV 24/7.

There are those that supported Trump from the beginning and they search for even the slightest straw to validate their belief in their Leader. They are willing to overlook ten failures if they can get one success.

It is nothing less than a "cult of personality". But, it is an unpredictable personality, with an uncertain degree of risk and danger.

The news media and intellectuals look for explanations to define what is happening? They search for signs of normalcy, that the personality has changed his way of thinking and is no longer the threat they first perceived.

Day 85. And the task begins anew.

their support of Trump. Might be less tolerance of his incompetence. Might be less cooperation on legislation just for the sake of party unity. Might be less silence wrt his threats of war and upsetting the world order. Might be more distancing between sane people and dysfunctional people.

And congress may hold the upper hand now to get what it wants...they can now threaten impeachment on a variety of mis-deeds.
