1.) Mullin Claimed the SNAP Benefit Program was an "Absolute Fraud"
In 2013, Huffington Post reported that Mullin has claimed that while on a shopping trip to a Crystal City, Va. grocery store he had noticed backed up lines and everyone paying for their items with SNAP benefit cards. Mullins was later quoted as saying of the SNAP benefit program, Absolute 100 percent, all of it is fraud. Theres fraud all through that.

2.) Mullin Is a Birther
Mullin, at a 2013 town hall meeting, said he agreed with what one of his constituents was saying when she claimed President Obama was not born in the United States.

3.) He Was Investigated for Ethics Violations
In 2014, The Washington Post reported that the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) claimed that Mullin had earned $600,000 in 2013, which far exceeded the $26,955 limit placed on House members. A report by the OCE also stated Mullin violated a House rule by continuing to sit on the board of his family's companies.

(12,265 posts)He is in rural Oklahoma, he has an R by his name and the pastors in all of the churches there tell them to vote for the R. They vote abortion and gay marriage, that is all.

(41,832 posts)A conserva-dem Dan Boren held it before Mullin, and before Boren was the very liberal Mike Synar ( RIP), before that was Carl Albert the Speaker of the House who is responsible for Medicare.

(14,274 posts)The people in his district were pissed and he showed nothing but contempt for them and his job. He is going to have a hard time getting re-elected. All we have to do is field a candidate.
