5 miles away. All their windows shattered. My grandfather on the other side was a country doctor an hour away and was on the first train into the city. Then the next day there was a huge blizzard that killed just as many from exposure. American military studied it in detail when they were growing the size of their nuclear bombs. An anomaly in history for sure. Point is Trump will never be able to match that and he will be impeached if he tries to use nukes. So he should give up trying to be the biggest and go back to diplomacy.

17. I do not know if he ever talked about it. His wife used to tell us stories about their lives

and interesting characters in their rural hamlet. But she stopped when I was about 8 and I can only remember one story. I think her church quilting bee taped her stories at one point and gave us the tapes. I passed on a tape to my sister that had my grandmotherès name on it. I hope that it is her oral tradition. I hope. My grandfather died in 1948 long before I was born.
