Emerge gives Democratic women who want to run for public office a unique opportunity. We are the only in-depth, seven-month, 70-hour, training program providing aspiring female leaders with cutting-edge tools and training to run for elected office and elevate themselves in our political system. We currently work in 18 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. Emerge America’s role is to serve the states where we work, open new state programs and build capacity to train more women in each of our current states. We provide our program’s alumnae with a strong, supportive network of women in politics, which includes a national association of Emerge alumnae, the Emerge board and advisory council members.

The gloves need to be off. No more "when they go low, we go high." That doesn't work. We take them out at the knees and play offense. That "defunding mammograms" attack against her looks like a winner.

I still feel his "organize" and "50 state strategy" lines are a bit vague. What does that entail exactly- especially since Thompson and now Quist aren't getting a ton of help. Not exactly a 50 state strategy. And blowing money on ads seems to be an issue too. Hopefully we can fix our mistakes.

consultants and ad people funnel tons of money into their pockets. It's all of this sweetheart dealing and although sure it would be nice to win, they know that the work is always going to be there. More expensive campaigns in two years! always.

It creates the kind of television-ad heavy, insular bubble view of the world, without the urgency to win and beat those MFers on the GOP side. It becomes about keeping the gravy train rolling, year after year, instead of crushing Republican's evil.
