Democrats tend to vote for Democrats and Deplorables tend to vote for Deplorables but for the Deplorables to close the gap they need to be close to perfect.

(16,104 posts)we watched the eventual Republican nominee come in well under 50% over and over.
He then went on to receive more Republican votes in the primary than any other Republican in history. Oh - and he is in the White House now.
It's time for us to get realistic - this is a Republican district in a Ruby Red state.
We can do better.

(28,394 posts)Can Ossoff pick up any voters from the R side? Or will the 52% of repub. voters coalesce to Handel now? Not sure, unless he can pick up some independents. I'm just disappointed this morning.

(28,394 posts)Ossoff was on MSNBC a little while ago. At least he is getting a lot of exposure. I haven't seen anything about Handel.
