I need slogans for the March for Science Saturday. Please help me come up with some.

I need a sign or seven (might give some out). All I've come up with so far is

Reality Trumps Ignorance
There is no Planet B
Denial is Deadly / Climate Change is Real

Thanks!

The Golden Ratio/Fibonacci Ratio is inherently rational, as you noted it can be expressed as a ratio Norbert9 Apr 2017 #30
It can be approximated by a ratio, but because its definition involves an infinite limit it is irrat Bernardo de La Paz Apr 2017 #31

It's catchy, memorable, accurate, and impossible to refute.

How about a chemical symbol "Re" (as on the periodic table), with the caption "Reality: The fundamental element."

"The universe is made up of protons, neutrons, electrons, and morons".

I saw another that read "Science is not a Liberal Conspiracy".

I've always liked the Einstein quote, "God does not play dice with the universe," but it was actually said in defense of his rejection of quantum mechanics due to its inherent randomness. Most people, however, don't know that fact.

There were so many to choose from, and for the longest time I couldn't get the fb link to work for me. As a result, my shirt may or may not get to me in time for the Science March...

I posted a similar request on my Facebook feed. One of my many nerdy friends made a very good point that we need to appeal to the non-science types out there. It is less of an opportunity to share great math and science wit than it is to remind folks how important science is to their daily lives and general well-being. With that in mind, we chose the following for the four large signs we are making:

Science -> Technology -> Business -> Jobs

I appreciate SCIENCE more with every MIGRAINE.

SCIENCE makes AMERICA great.
[Apollo moon landing pic]

"The SCIENCE of TODAY is
the TECHNOLOGY of TOMORROW"
Edward Teller (1908-2003), American Physicist

Then we have some smaller posterboard. Here are some of our choices for those:

SCIENCE -- better than living in a cave!

Do the math -- SCIENCE = GROWTH

SCIENCE -- it works, bitches!
SCIENCE -- it works, baby!

Angela Merkel "chose to pursue a career in physics because there the truth isn't so easily bent."

"Science RULES!"
Bill Nye (1955- ) American Science Guy

Love your mother
[Pic of the Earth]

There are some more, but I don't have them pulled together. I need to get my ass in gear tomorrow!

BTW, I know from our days as a Girl Scout cookie mom that neon posterboard with cheap black craft paint is the best, cheapest, and fastest way to go.

HAPPY MARCHING!
