2. This is chilling and frightening....

I am shaking watching that. You see these helmeted police going into a court house and dragging people out. You see outside people (Erdogan supporters) clapping. You see others who are booing and upset. You see a courthouse hall filled with people standing around and hearing some boos. But none the less, these people are being dragged off to who knows where and having who knows what happen to them.

How many thousands of people have been arrested and detained (on what charges?) by Erdogan and having their civil liberties and worse violated?

Democracy in Turkey no longer exists. A dangerous dictator is controlling it and there may be a civil war breaking out there soon, similar to Syria.

This is so horrible and frightening....and fucking Comrade Trumpsky who is destroying our own democracy as quickly as he can and sabre rattling with another maniac (Korea) with what could lead to a Nuclear War - is calling this Dictator to congratulate him on destroying his democracy and establishing a dictatorship?

I am truly afraid for what is coming...for Turkey, for Europe, for the US....for the world....

5 years ago. She is horribly frightened. She and her fiends are of the professional class-she is a teacher--profs, lawyers, doctors -the educated class if you will. Muslim yes--but secular Muslim. She says it gets worse every day.
